Clubs Under Threat

What Clubs Can Do About It

There are two things that clubs must do. First, tell your members about what's going on. Second, tell your politicians what your club thinks of the deal and what it will mean for your club.

It is vitally important that we as an industry ensure the millions of people who are members of clubs nationally, are aware of what the Federal Government plans to do.

Each and every club has a responsibility to inform their members and to give them the tools necessary to lobby their local politicians.

This page provides you with some information on what you can do to make sure your members know what's happening and how you can tell your club's story to your local politician.

Tools You Can Use

Below are some template letters, address lists and some club cards to send to your club members which will assist in making your members aware of what the Federal Government plans to do.

  • Letter Template to send to members
This is a letter clubs can use to send to their members to raise awareness and give members an idea of what they can do.
  • Club Cards
These club cards are a handy way for clubs to alert members to what is happening. The idea is to have these cards in your venue (at reception or other high traffic areas) as well as including them in regular mail outs to club members.
  • Address List for Key Politicians by Party
This is an address list for key politicians. All you need to do is click on their email address and send them a message.
